My name is Nelson Fuentes Jr. and I have been shooting and editing events all around Long Island and New York City for almost 20 years.
I created this blog so that I can address customers' issues with video. I created this as an extension of my website so that any further questions about video can be answered.
If nothing else, I'd like to use this blog to help inspire other young videographers and filmmakers because videography is my lifestyle and my passion.
Before I begin with the blog, I'd like to mention how I got my start in the business.
Almost 20 years ago, I got a job with a company called Video Specialties, that specialized in the same kinds of events. I was grateful for the experience, but the events that I'd edited were all made in a cookie-cutter way where all edits were done the exact same way.
After years of being there, I decided I wanted to start shooting weddings and editing them on my own.
In 2000, I officially started I Do Video.
I have dedicated and sacrificed my time to make events priceless memories for my customers.
